‘We care’ response: COVID-19

Senior citizens most vulnerable to COVID -19 infections and increased health risk need support and protection during the pandemic. FWA care response with the elderly includes:
  • Tele communications in the lockdown period/ visits for psycho-social support, connect and general well- being
  • Awareness on COVID 19 – prevention and precaution measures (as per Government advisory)
  • Distribution of relief kits (ration and sanitation items)
  • Facilitate eligible senior citizens to avail benefits of the Government COVID- 19 relief measures (Garib Kalyan Yojana)
  • Conduct COVID-19 Testing and health check-up camps
  • Support COVID-19 Vaccination drive – awareness on vaccines, dispel fear and misinformation, enrollment facilitation and accompany to vaccination centers.
